Concept

Embedding

An embedding is a fixed-length vector of floating-point numbers that represents a piece of data (text, code, an image) in a way that captures its meaning. Similar items land close together in the vector space; unrelated items land far apart.

The rest of “Embedding” is a premium feature: every concept in the library gets a precise, practitioner-focused write-up like this one, cross-linked straight from the paper summaries that use it.
