Concept

Second raw moment

The second raw moment of a random variable X is its expected squared value, E[X^2]. "Raw" (also called "moment about zero") means you do not subtract the mean first.

The rest of “Second raw moment” is a premium feature: every concept in the library gets a precise, practitioner-focused write-up like this one, cross-linked straight from the paper summaries that use it.
